How To Root A Phone Using TowelRoot

TowelRoot has rooted many phones and is one of the best known exploits till the date developed by GeoHot to root Samsung Galaxy S5. Potentially it was made to root the new Samsung Galaxy S5 which the manufacturers claimed to be the 'unrootable' phone, but GeoHot after some efforts made it available to almost all the devices using the same Google kernel (unpatched) version and the SoC. Mostly this has worked on Qualcomm based devices rather than MediaTek. Actually, I haven't ever seen any MediaTek device rooted with TR, so it would be nothing except time waste.

How To Root A Phone Using TowelRoot

• Download MashupRoot Tool from here.
• Execute the tool, the main .exe file and then press any key to continue.
• Type 4 and hit enter to execute the installation of TowelRoot onto the phone.
• The application will automatically open as soon as it gets installed. All this will happen automatically with no clicks etc.
• Just click on Make it Ra1n to run the exploit.
  
  
  
  
• It will show you a message with text that the phone will reboot in 15 seconds. Exactly after 15 seconds, your phone will reboot. In the mean time, don't press any key or do such actions.
• After you reboot, you'll have SuperSU application installed on your phone.
