How To Root HTC Desire 616

HTC Desire 616 is a phone launched by HTC powering a MediaTek processor. It's not common about international brands to release their phones with a MediaTek processor because they are relatively slower than Qualcomm based devices like Samsung Galaxy S5, Nexus 5 etc. Because HTC Desire 616 is a MediaTek based phone and is vulnerable to the exploits in Mashup Root Tool, you can easily root it with MRT. Let's see how.

 How To Root HTC Desire 616
  • Setup ADB along with their drivers from here.
  • Download Mashup Root Tool from RohanArya.Com only.
  • Install this tool and open it.
  • Pass the splash screen of it.
  • Type 3 and hit enter while device is connected and USB debugging is enabled.
  • Follow the instructions which will open on your web browser.
  • Reboot your phone!
