Android L ROM for Micromax Unite 2

Android L is a buzz word of today's world and many only 3 devices can enjoy this delicious ROM including Nexus 7, Nexus 5 and HTC M7 though HTC M7 got it unofficially through  a binary port. Anyway, let me be clear that it isn't actually an Android L ROM, but just based on Android L. The ROM has Material UI which is by Google.

How To Install Android L ROM on Micromax Unite 2 A106
  • Root Micromax Unite 2 and install CWM recovery on this phone. 
  • Reboot to custom recovery.
  • First of all make a backup in recovery which can be proved very useful.
  • Perform a full Wipe including cache and dalvik cache.
  • Then format the system using the recovery itself.
  • Flash the ROM. [Download link at the bottom]..
  • Then finally reboot your phone and reboot to system!

      You can't! You'll need to install Jelly Bean OS first.

      Audio bug is fixed, kindly wait for next release. Camera is not yet fixed. Also no news about 3G. stay tuned.

      It works on all the variants i.e., 4 GB and 8 GB, both.

    I just put the the camera files of AOSP_rom_teamwinner.zip into your android L.zip
    {libcam.camadapter.so
    libcam.campipe.so
    libcam.camshot.so
    libcam.client.so
    libcam.paramsmgr.so
    libcam.utils.so
    libcam_camera_exif.so
    libcamalgo.so
    libcamdrv.so
    libcamera_client.so
    libcamera_metadata.so
    libcameracustom.so
    libcameraservice.so}
    These files from system/lib of AOSP ROM TO ANDROID L ROM

    [android.hardware.camera.XML] file from System/etc/permissions of AOSP Rom to android L Rom..

    and GalleryGoogle.apk from System/apps of AOSP rom to android L Rom..
    and its done..i overwrited all these files.. and disabled the Gallery2.apk of your android L rom..

      Kindly wait, we are working on it. :D for audio, replace libaudio files from /system/lib folder. For 3G, we're working.

    i think this is based on 512MB ram. it'd be better if it is 1Gb Ram, Also it is slow after installing.. Audio and camera Not working for me

    hey, the new rom also has some bugs:
    1. R sign is showing above my network bar when i am not even in roaming.
    2. settings stop error if i try to set voice unlock in security.
    hope you fix them soon :)
    anyway its a great ROM!!
